Graveyard Carz - (2018 - 2024)

Due to network budget cuts, I was laid off from the show after being involved for over 100 episodes.  Which is why you're now looking here.  Welcome to my reel.  I've provided samples of my work from the last decade.

In this most recent season premiere, I was responsible for the assembly of the entire episode.  Including developing the idea that became the comedy cutaways featured throughout the entire episode.

Graveyard Carz - (2018 - 2024)

I spent 6 years as an editor on the Motortrend television show Graveyard Carz.

This video is the first episode produced after an unexpected change in leadership on the production team.  On a two week deadline, I took charge in the editing, music selection and pacing of this episode while the rest of the production team reorganized itself.

The entire narrative of this episode was built around a ton of B-Roll of the restoration of a 1970 Roadrunner.  I wrote the primary storyline segments.

I am very proud of the first act of this episode which really needed to land in order to set the stakes.

Crossfire World Outreach Ministries - (2021 - 2023)

This is an example of a quick video produced for a valentine's day dinner hosted by the church.  This was a 5 minute shoot.  But it needed some spice to make it interesting.  So I added some simple but effective special effects and sound design.

Crossfire World Outreach Ministries - (2021 - 2023)

I was offered a position as Television Editor and Director at my Church.  I was in charge of live editing weekly broadcasts as well as managing the social media promotion of those broadcasts.  In addition I edited each week's sermon for broadcast on a local Fox Affiliate.  I also produced the current opening title sequence used by the church.  I also utilized the Adobe Creative Cloud to generate closed captioning for each broadcast.

This video is 2021's Christmas special featuring members of the church telling their personal Christmas Stories.

The Bouncy Ball - (2013)

A random idea to tell the story of bouncy ball's journey across the camp.  This video uses subtle editing techniques to make the ball to impossible things.

Filmed in under a half hour and edited in under 2 hours, the point is to tell a simple story to entertain middle school kids while a set change was happening on a stage.  I think this video conveys it well.

Camp Harlow Donor Video - (2014)

This is the video that I am most proud of during my time at Camp Harlow.  I was tasked with using existing interview footage and audio and building it into a story to show to potential donors.  Many of the people who saw this video had no real idea of the kind of impact Camp Harlow had on the lives of kids in Western Oregon.

This video had extensive color correcting and audio mixing and was my first real experience with utilizing Adobe software to clean up bad audio tracks.

Camp Harlow High School Camp - (2013)

This is an example of one of the many daily highlight videos that I produced for Camp Harlow.  With this particular example, I treated it as a music video for the music group that performed on that particular day.

This video contains footage shot by 3 different people including myself.  I filmed segments of this video with the song choice in mind.

The song used is slower than a traditional highlight video.  I decided to challenge myself to produce something unique that still fit with the music.  I experimented with different types of shot transitions to create some very unique imagery.

Eugene Christian School Donor Video - (2012)

In 2012 I was asked to clean up an existing video for Eugene Christian School.  As the school was in the process of opening their new campus, the administration wanted to produce a video for their donors.

I had to film multiple interviews and capture footage over the course of 6 months to tell the full story.  I had no budget and no proper equipment.  I had a vision of very specific shots that showed the stages of the construction of the classrooms.  Extensive color correction was also utilized.
